2016 年环境科学与工程国际学术会议（ESE2016）于4月15日-17日在广西桂林举行。它是由环境科学与工程研究中心主办的领先性会议，来自不同国家和地 区的研究人员在会上交流关于环境科学，污染和工程的研究成果。林德亚太区冶金与玻璃技术总监席勒博士应主办方邀请，围绕如何减少能源消耗和降低污染物排放 以及相关的环境处理技术在大会上做了主题报告。
作 为本次会议的四位特邀报告嘉宾之一，席勒博士以“应用技术节约能源消耗，减少能源密集型产业的污染物排放”为报告主题，讨论了如何应用低排放节能高效燃烧 技术，最大限度地减少能源需求和燃烧过程中产生的排放量。报告用诸多实例展示了林德集团创新开发的针对高能耗工业的系列解决方案，这些解决方案已经成功帮 助钢铁、有色金属、玻璃、水泥行业的炉窑能源消耗下降20-50%，排放减少数相同比例或更多。席勒博士强调说，我们应该总是尝试最大限度地提高能源效 率，最大限度地减少能源需求和排放量，因为与常规的污染控制和污染物处理手段（如过滤器，SCR等）相比，这是更有效的解决方案。

Linde is Invited for Making a Keynote Speech on “Minimizing Energy Need and Generation of Emissions”
The International Conference on Environmental Science and Engineering（ESE2016） took place in Guilin, Guangxi on April 15-17. It was organized by the Science & Engineering Research Center; it is a leading conference for researchers from different countries and disciplines to present their research results about Environmental Science, Pollution and Engineering. Dr. Joachim von Schéele, head of market segment steel, metals & glass, was invited to have a keynote speech focusing on how to minimize the energy need and the generation of emissions in combustion processes in the conference.
There were four keynote speeches in the conference. Dr. Joachim von Schéele had the privilege of presenting a keynote with the title “Technologies to Save Energy and Reduce Emissions in Energy-Intensive Industries”. The Linde presentation showed numerous examples from steel, non-ferrous, glass, and cement industries where the energy need has been decreased by 20-50% and the emissions reduced by same numbers or even more. Instead of jumping to secondary measures such as energy-recycling and different kinds of abatement solutions like filters, SCR, etc., we should always first try to maximize the most efficient way, which is to minimize the energy need and the generation of emissions.
China's supply side restructuring during the new normal is now on the way. In today’s industrial environment, which not at least in China includes substantial overcapacity, it is important to find flexible and cost-efficient solutions to save energy and reduce emissions. Linde provides technical solutions to improve production flexibility and product quality which avoiding demand of disposal equipment that increasing costs, so it certainly became many customers’ best choice.
